My Story

Hi, I’m Holly!

Welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you’ve stopped in and I pray that you find encouragement in the snippets of my life and lessons learned posted here.

Who am I?

I’m a wife and stay at home mom of 3 young girls and a writer, musician, and crafter. I love creating content and crafting stories. I hate laundry, dishes, and cleaning the house (but I do them all the same). I’m energized by building something of my own and have a passion to encourage others along the way.

Over the last several years the definition of who I am has also expanded a bit. I am also a woman living with polycystic ovarian syndrome, Hashimotos thyroid disease, and chronic head pressure and pain. I’m a warrior in the battle of hormone health and a constantly learning patient. I’m also a woman living with anxiety – the kind that has gripped since the birth of my last child with unpredictable swings and symptoms.

While there are many ways to describe me, it’s my hope that the greatest way is to call me a lover of Jesus. More than anything I’m a woman anchored by my loving heavenly Father and committed to living purposefully for His glory. I’m a daughter of the King – loved, cherished, and guided through each of life’s painful turns.

What will you find on this blog?

On this blog I’ll be sharing my heart, my faith, my story, and practical things I’ve learned about living with hormone and autoimmune diseases. I’m not a medical professional, I haven’t reached complete healing, and I’m not a Bible scholar. I’m just a girl who loves Jesus, has walked through some very deep valleys, and who is committed to taking one step at a time through daily pain and unpredictable setbacks.

If you’ve struggled with hormone or autoimmune health, have wrestled with irrational anxiety, are a mom, or are just a fellow Jesus lover hanging on through this journey of life, then I invite you to walk with me.

Let’s help each other take one step at a time and trust the one who enables us to do so.

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
